Christmas with the cousins

We tried for a little while to get them all to stand up, smile, and look towards the camera... I think we got  a pretty good one!  Grandma, I uploaded this one large, so hopefully you can click on it somehow and download it to your computer.

Thanksgiving 2012

The boys helped me decorate the turkey cookies this year.  I relinquished control of the situation and let them have at it.  They were very focused with each cookie they did:
And they had a good time being silly... I guess dad was the chief of this operation...
very focused... and I don't remember letting his hair grow this long...
Buttoning his shirt all by himself while getting ready for our Thanksgiving company to come:
Look how high I can jump mom!
S telling us he is big enough to take a picture... He did a pretty good job!

Great Wolf Lodge

In November we made our second trip to the Great Wolf Lodge.  S loved it the first time, so we thought we would give it another go.  The boys were pumped!  They couldn't wait to get in the water!

P didn't think it was quite as fun once he actually got it... He thought it was cold and a little scary... mostly cold.  He had a blast playing in the huge hot tub.
S enjoyed the slides over and over and over and over again.  After going solo on this one, he and dad went down the larger ones together.

First Day of Pre-K and Halloween

One more picture to catch up.  This was S's first day of preschool picture.  Every time we ask him what he wants to be when he grows up, he says he wants to be everything and do everything when he grows up.  I guess he can't narrow it down just yet.
Here are our cuties for Halloween.  P wanted to be the tiger costume we already had and S picked Mario.  He has quite the Mario obsession these days.  He is always asking me if he can play Mario now. The boys had just gotten over being sick for about a week and a half if you're noticing the red rash above P's lip.
Getting their faces painted at the Harvest Party.
Rosy cheeks! And he loves the mustache!
The boys got warheads at some of the game stations they played.  They asked D to eat one...
S thought that looked like fun, so he had to try one too... I didn't catch his pucker face... but his wasn't nearly as dramatic as D's.  If you look closely you can see his eyes are starting to water up... I think P ended up eating one later in the evening.
